Ktima Papaioannou Nemea is a single-variety dry red wine made from 100% Agiorgitiko, sourced from organic vineyards in Nemea (PDO Nemea).
Appearance: Deep red (ruby) color with purple highlights.
Aromas: A complex bouquet of red fruits (cherry, sour cherry, plum) combined with notes of butter, caramel, vanilla and spices.
Palate:Balanced and rich, with velvety tannins and proper acidity that provides structure. It features a long, fruity aftertaste with a sense of sweet spices.
Vinification: Produced using the classic red vinification method and aged for 12 months in oak barrels. It continues to mature in the bottle for at least 6 months before being released to the market.
Aging Potential: It has an excellent aging potential and can be cellared for 10+ years.
It pairs perfectly with red meats (grilled or stewed in red sauces), game and aged yellow cheeses. Ideally served at 17 - 18°C.
